OUR DONUTS
Founded in 2023 by Patrick James Verlin and Anastasiya Mykhaylova, Courageous Donuts specialises in UK and international productions with a strong emphasis on projects that are building toward feature films.
In 3 years, the company has produced seven shorts across Europe, North America and Australia. With 3 of their shorts in post-production, their first 4 short films have won Special Mention at Palm Springs for Best Film Under 15 minutes, Best Actress at Leuven Film Festival and have screened at leading international festivals including POFF, LSFF, Sarajevo, Prague Shorts, Flickerfest and Hollyshorts.
Several projects have secured distribution through major European platforms including Arte and RaiPlay. Notably, The Bull was longlisted for the BIFAs, and Shooting Watermelons was shortlisted for Semaine de la Critique at Cannes Film Festival, BAFTA Yugo Awards. and earned a BSC Nomination.
